Aluminium offers the inherent strength necessary for our verandas and pergolas. Aluminium is lightweight, strong, durable, and low maintenance, while also aiding the high performance of our products as it is immune to UV, has low conductivity, and is fire resistant.
Aluminium is one of the most available and sustainable construction materials, thus reducing carbon emissions and greatly extending the life-cycle cost of the products. It can be endlessly recycled making it far more environmentally friendly than alternative materials such as timber, steel and PVC. Up to 90% of all aluminium used in construction is recycled, using 95% less energy to manufacture than its primary production - and with no deterioration in quality.
Aluminium does not age like other organic materials and needs no protection from ultra-violet light. Its overall life-cycle is more environmentally friendly due to the minimum energy required in maintenance. The well-established, proven design life of aluminium assures that it will provide a long term solution year on year and can be easily recycled at the end of a verandas life..... but that's well over the horizon!
